Our Accreditation

International Theological Seminary is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and remains fully accredited. We accept students of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin.

On June 9, 2023, ATS placed the seminary on probation due to concerns in a few areas that we are already working hard to address. In June 2025, ATS extended probation for good cause by 12 months (to June 2026), as the school has demonstrated sufficient progress since being placed on probation two years ago. This status does not affect the validity of our degrees or our ability to offer accredited programs.

We are committed to making the needed improvements and working closely with ATS to restore full compliance. Our students can continue their education with confidence, and we will keep our community updated along the way.
